After a sports medical examination, Jovana underwent exercise stress test which determines the level and degree of physical exertion of each individual. Functional stress test examines reactions to physical effort and ability of the body to be exposed to physical exertion. Anyone planning to undergo physical exertion should go through certain levels of medical control. After the stress test, doctors determine whether a person is generally able to engage in sports and they give advice on how an individual should be exposed to physical exertion. Medical checkup and testing need to be done before being engaged in sports, and preferably 2-3 times per year. Professional and serious athletes are doing this test to check their fitness and form.
