Sport scholarship holders doing sports medical checkups and motor ability and psychological test at the SISSM

The Serbian national bowling representative, Radovan Vlajkov, and the Serbian national tennis representative, Tamara Malešević, had sports medical checkups at the Department of Sports Medicine and Sports Psychology at the Serbian Institute of Sport and Sports Medicine: biochemical blood tests, anthropometric measurements, ECG at rest, general medical examination, ultrasound of the heart, and spirometry and ergospirometry test.

After performing sports medical checkup, the athletes were tested on Isokinetic dynamometer in thelaboratory of the Department for motor research and analytics in sport. The most modern model of isokinetic dynamometer produced by HUNAC NORM provides an opportunity to assess muscles throught three modes (isokinetic ,isotonic and isometric) through active movement of flexors and extensors of the torso, then ankle, knee joint hip, shoulder, elbow and wrist muscles. The movements can be performed in all directions (extension, flexion, abduction, adduction, and internal rotation).
