Today, one of the most successful athletes of our time, Jasna Šekarić, did biochemical analysis of blood and basic sports medical checkup at the Serbian Institute of Sport and Sports Medicine.

Jasna Šekarić is one of the most famous Serbian athletes and our national representative in shooting. She has been the Olympic, world and European champion on several occasions. She was repeatedly proclaimed as the best athlete and scorer of Yugoslavia, Croatia, Montenegro and Serbia. At the Olympics she won five medals: one gold, three silver and one bronze. She is the only athlete who managed in every performance at the Olympics to reach the finals. Three times the world champion, four times European champion. Jasna is a member of a shooting club Red Star.

Sports medical examinations and motor ability testing of children in Bela Palanka
The Minister of Youth and Sports Vanja Udovicic and the director of the Serbian Institute of Sport and Sports Medicine attended the sports medical examinations and motor ability tastings of children at the Sports Centre Banjica " in Bela Palanka. In the sports hall of the sports center a public lecture was also held as part of the program 'Sport in schools''. The event was attended by the Secretary of State for sport Predrag Peruničić.

Young talents of women's basketball at the sports medical examinations at the Serbian Institute of Sport and Sports Medicine
Young basketball player started a sports medical checkup today at the Serbian Institute of Sport and Sports Medicine. The Department of Sports Medicine and Psychology will perform the following sports medical procedures: basic blood tests, anthropometric measurements, ECG and physical examinations.

Besides implementing a program of free basketball school for girls, '' The movement for women's basketball '', in cooperation with the Serbian Institute of Sport and Sports Medicine, has organizes free medical examinations for all its members at the Department of Sports Medicine and Psychology in Kosutnjak. The school "The movement for women's basketball Marina Maljkovic" for this season has sparked huge interest. Almost a hundred new members decided to join the '' movement '' and follow in the footsteps of Dabović sisters, Sonja Petrovic, Jelena Milovanovic and other Serbian national team members.
